This Benylin cough syrup is great for chesty coughs that are troublesome during the day where syrups that make you drowsy would be unsuitable. Its soothing formula provides deep penetrating relief from stubborn bronchial congestion and phlegm.
Directions
Dosage: Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take two 5 ml spoonfuls every 4 – 6 hours, four times a day
Not suitable for children under 12 years
Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. If symptoms persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Ingredients
The active ingredients??in 5 ml of Benylin Chesty Coughs Original are: 14 mg Diphenhydramine hydrochloride and 2 mg Levomenthol.
Other ingredients are: Liquid glucose, sucrose, eth- anol, glycerol, sodium citrate, saccharin sodium, citric acid monohydrate, sodium benzoate (E211), ammo- nium chloride, caramel T12 (E150), raspberry flavour (benzyl alcohol, E1520 propylene glycol, ethanol), carbomer, Ponceau 4R (E124) and water.
